Music Ministry
Temple Choir
The choir is always looking for people who love to sing! The choir sings a mixture of music including: traditional, contemporary, and even acapella. We meet on Wednesday at 3pm or 7pm in the choir room for rehearsal and share our music every Sunday at the 10:30 am service.
You’ll find a supportive community that will welcome you regardless of musical background or experience.
Contact the music department (music@myfumc.net) with questions or comments.
Pipe Organ Our congregation enjoys the sounds of a 32-rank Reuter Pipe Organ installed in 1972. With over 2,000 pipes, the instrument leads our singing as well as service music throughout worship. Members and guests in the congregation are always welcome to come up to the organ after the service to learn how the organ works and to “give it a try” on the bench. We also accompany our singing and other special music with a Baldwin Grand Piano and other instruments as we have them available. If you play an instrument, we love adding that extra touch to our choir anthems, hymns, and arrangements.
