Composite Deck

Marcore is a 2” deep dovetail shaped deck that can be used as a composite floor deck, roof deck or acoustical deck. Marcore’s unique dovetail type rib system acts structurally as either a floor or a roof, and as a clean and aesthetically attractive, linear-plank ceiling. Marcore features superior structural and acoustical capabilities and is the architectural choice for a roof and floor deck ceiling system. For roof deck applications it can span long distances and carry heavier loads than your typical roof deck. With the design of the dovetail deck it is ideal for floor applications due to its ability to keep slabs as thin as possible, but also keeping the long spans. Marcore has the ability to bond with concrete in the same way as composite deck. Marcore is available in 18, 20 and 22 gauge and can come with or without a stiffener rib.
